A must-visit place in Kolkata, the Victoria Memorial is one of the most glorious monuments of India. It is constructed with beautiful white marble on the Maidan in Central Kolkata and is dedicated to Queen Victoria, Empress of India from 1876 to 1901. The temple is 300 years old and the structure of the temple was completed under the patronage of Sabarna Roy Chowdhury in 1809. Atmaram Brahmachari and Brahmananda Giri were the two saints who created beautiful and unique Idols of Kali with the touchstone. Best time to visit

October and November come with an autumn season with clear blue skies, though the weather remains warm and humid you can be a part of Durga Puja, the largest and craziest festival of Bengali.
