Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a sapling of Pink Trumpet (Basant Rani) during his stay in Chennai today. CM Shri Chouhan plants saplings every day in fulfillment of his resolve. The Pink Trumpet planted today is a medium-sized ornamental tree, bearing attractive flowers in various shades of pink to purple. Its bark is also used for medicine.
