Crowd performing 'Diwari' dance during #Diwali2022  festival. Diwari is a folk dance of Bundelkhand performed every year during Diwali 🪔. The dancers wear multi-coloured apparels and hold peacock feathers in their hands.
The main instruments used in this dance are ‘Dholak’ and ‘Nagaria’. In connection, the epic story goes that "in Gokul" when Lord Krishna 🙏 raised Govardhan Mountain on his finger to save his associates, they danced in joy. This dance is also performed after harvesting.
